ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A man wanted for a Florissant bank robbery Tuesday was taken into custody not long after the crime.

The suspect was taken into custody late Tuesday afternoon after the bank robbery at a First Bank inside a Dierbergs grocery store.

St. Louis County police say the suspect handed a teller a demand note and ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nobody was injured.

The suspect's name will be released if charges are filed.
