WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. – The Webster Groves pool closed Thursday and will be closed again Friday for emergency maintenance.

Scott Davis, director of Webster Groves Parks and Recreation, says the pool tested positive for trace amounts of E. coli when the St. Louis County Health Department took water samples Tuesday during routine maintenance.

Davis says the pool is taking preventative measures to fix the problem and is sending new water samples to a lab.
