WENTZVILLE, Missouri (KSDK) – General Motors' Wentzville plant received a huge delivery Thursday morning for its third press system that will stamp parts for the new mid-size pickup trucks, according to a company release.

The presses, pit equipment and press beds are a part of the $133 million press system being added to the facility, which will retain or add 55 jobs. Overall, the company hopes to create or retain more than 1,300 jobs for the launch of the Chevrolet Colorado and GM Canyon.

The company currently employs 2,400 people and produces the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana.
