ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A hearing date has been scheduled for later this month as the woman known as the Queen of Beer attempts to take her gender discrimination case back to court.

Francine Katz filed a motion last week for a new trial against former employer, Anheuser Busch.

Katz, who was the top female executive at the brewery, sued and said she had been underpaid for a number of years due to her gender.

In May, a jury ruled in favor of Anheuser Busch in the sex discrimination case.

The hearing is scheduled for July 28 at 9 a.m. in the Civil Court Building in downtown St. Louis.
