ST. LOUIS - Schnucks has reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit stemming from a massive security breach.

The $2.1 million settlement would pay affected customers for a variety of inconveniences. Members of the class action could receive up to $200 in out-of-pocket expenses, $10 for each credit or debit card affected, and up to $10,000 in reimbursements for lost money.

Schnucks estimates 2.4 million credit and debit cards were compromised during the attack.

A final approval hearing is set for January 13, 2015.
