ST. LOUIS - The Illinois Department of Transportation has reopened IL 96 through Mozier in Calhoun County, IL 100 through Jersey County, and the free Brussels Ferry service between Jersey and Calhoun Counties.

Motorists in the areas are advised to remain cautious since other roadways may still be affected the flood water.

State Roadways in Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Madison, and Randolph Counties will be monitored for several more days. Travel times and traffic patterns are expected to be affected by the remnants of the flood. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speed, be patient, and use additional caution when traveling through the Metro East.
