ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - It was the puuurrrfect way for cat lovers to unite.

Dozens of people came out for the Internet Cat Video Festival at the Contemporary Art Museum Saturday.

Organizers scoured YouTube, Instagram and Vine to put together the 73-minute video.

Organizers say the festival is much more than watching cat videos; it's a means to introduce more people to the Contemporary Art Museum.

On top of watching the film, those who came out got the chance to enjoy face-painting and even learn how to make cat toys.
