NEW YORK - A vandal in New York is lashing out at drivers for their parking skills. Residents hope the vandal is caught before another vehicle is ruined.
Note on the windshield is one thing, but this explicit spray painted message "learn how to park" is another.
The owner of a silver car didn't want to be identified, but she parked at 68th Street and Myrtle Avenue Tuesday night and woke up to vandalism.
"I know how hard it is to find spots in this neighborhood so I would try to leave space if there was space so it's very upsetting," said one victim.
Another foul note instructing to "park right." Police say one car was tagged overnight just 2 blocks away from the other.
Doreen Pratt says it was parked perfectly fine.
"There was no way another car would have fit there, a smart car was even too big for it," said Pratt.
A surveillance camera at a nearby school captured this image which may be the parking vigilante, walking with spray paint. Now residents here in Glendale say parking is a real issue but to punish a driver by vandalizing their vehicles, that's taking it too far.
"Nobody has a right to touch your property," said Pratt.
And residents want this vandal caught.
