ST. LOUIS – The second corpse flower has bloomed, and the Missouri Botanical Garden will host special evening hours for people to catch a whiff of the plant.

The flower blooms once every two years, and the smell lives up to its namesake of being compared to rotting flesh.

Another flower bloomed at the garden earlier this month.

The garden will have special hours Monday, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. for those interested in seeing the flower. Entry is free and available through the Ridgway Visitor Center.
