ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A St. Louis woman proves it's never too late to make a dream come true.

Ninety-year-old Evelyn Stolz went skydiving Sunday for the first time.

Stolz said when she served in the Navy during World War II, she wanted to be a parachute rigger.

She couldn't get the job because at 95 pounds, she was way too small.

Stolz's son says a couple of months ago, and Sunday with her whole family watching, she jumped.

Stolz was a bit speechless when she finally made it back to the ground.

Stolz's family said she wanted to get the jump in before her next birthday -- she will be 91 on August 3.
