ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis teen is charged with first-degree murder for the death of an Arnold, Mo. teen.

Samuel Vazquez-Gonzales, 18, is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, attempted robbery, two counts of robbery, and six counts of armed criminal action for the shooting death of 19-year-old Brandon Gonzalez.

St. Louis police say officers were called to a vacant home in the 7300 block of Vermont for a report of a shooting. Gozalez had been shot in his chest and neck. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 21-year-old man was also shot in his chest and neck. He was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

A third person, a 19-year-old man, was uninjured and told police he and the two others had gone to the home for a drug transaction which turned into a robbery.

Vazquez-Gonzales is held without bond.
