ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. – A former high school teacher and track coach had an arraignment hearing Monday for federal charges after allegations of recording inside a girls' locker room at the school.
Monday, Timothy Going faces a four-count indictment of felonies including attempted sexual exploitation of minors as well as possession of child pornography. He has already been charged with unauthorized video recording victims under the age of 18, unlawful placing of video device with victims under the age of 18, unauthorized videotaping, and unlawful placing of a video device in public.
Going worked as a cross country coach and math teacher at Fairfield Community High School.

According to court documents, Going attempted to film minors with the intention of using it for child pornography in multiple incidents in August, October and November. According to Fairview Heights Police, the man attempted to film the teens without their knowledge.
He has also been accused of recording a member of the school track team at a Super 8 Motel in Fairview Heights.
Police also found a computer in Going's possession with child pornography on it.
The next hearing, which has been set for August 5, will determine whether he will be held without bond until trial. A trial has been scheduled for Sept. 30.
