WEST ALTON, Mo. – Two people are okay after a vehicle went into a St. Charles County lake early Thursday morning.
The vehicle was traveling along Spatter Dock Lake Road in West Alton when police say the driver missed a curve in the road and hit the guardrail. The vehicle went into the lake, which runs parallel to the road. The water level in the lake is currently low.
Authorities say the driver was treated at the scene for an asthma attack, but she and her passenger were not injured.
