Rock Community Fire Department responded to a first alarm apartment fire at Jaguar Trails on the 500 block of Potomac in Arnold, Mo.

The fire started around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.

Richard Coyle was outside the apartment with some friends when they noticed smoke coming out the building. They quickly ran inside to try and help.

The fire was contained to one second story unit, but another unit recieved water damage

One person was treated at the scene.

The American Red Cross is assisting the three adults and three children that lived in the apartment.
