ST. LOUIS – A man killed in an overnight accident in north St. Louis has been identified.
St. Louis police say witnesses saw the vehicle speeding east on Interstate 70 shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle swerved, crossed all lanes of traffic, hit the guardrail, spun, and then rolled backwards down an embankment and through a fence in the 4500 block of Riverview.
Justin Bracken, 31, was sitting in the passenger seat and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 25-year-old driver and 20-year-old and 33-year-old passengers were taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
