ST. LOUIS – A community activist joined Today in St. Louis Monday morning to talk about the unrest that erupted in Ferguson Sunday following the shooting death of an unarmed teen on Saturday.

James Clark, vice president of community outreach for Better Family Life, says the community needs to remember at the root of this situation a young man was killed, and Sunday's riots overshadow 18-year-old Mike Brown's death.

Clark says the community needs to develop strong, aggressive outreach programs that go into the neighborhood to help individuals make better decisions.

He says we need parents to talk to their kids and have curfews for their children right now because the violence may not be over.
