FERGUSON, Mo. – Police are still on the streets of Ferguson, patrolling the area in groups of four.

Officers are focused on making sure students in the Jennings School District are able to get to school and return home this afternoon safely.

Jennings students were supposed to start school Monday, but the first day was delayed until Tuesday because of riots in the area.

There was an impromptu protest around 8 p.m. Monday along West Florissant, not far from the Quiktrip that was set on fire Sunday night.

Police say coins and rocks were being thrown at officers, and when people refused to leave the area, they used tear gas in an attempt to disperse Monday night's crowd. Officers also shot either rubber bullets or bean bags at people if they refused to leave.

About 15 people were arrested Monday night. On Sunday, 32 people were arrested and two police officers were injured.
