FERGUSON, Mo. - The unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, has caused the public schools to shutdown, leaving many students without the meals that the school provides to their students.

When Julianna Medelsohn, a Ferguson public school teacher, found out school was cancelled, her first thought was about the students in households with food instability. Partnering with the Ferguson / Florissant City Council, Julianna has started a crowdfunding campaign "Feed the Student of Ferguson" on fundly.com.

Julianna has also partnered with the St. Louis Foodbank and has an army of volunteers that can help distribute. It doesn't matter if it's a dollar of a hundred dollars, everything donated will go to the St. Louis Foodbank to help feed the Ferguson students. So far, over $23,500 has been donated.
