FERGUSON, Mo. – NewsChannel 5 was given a rare look inside the police response in Ferguson. A news crew went on a ride along with Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson as he traveled amidst the crowd of protesters.
Johnson visited with neighbors along West Florissant to listen to their concerns. He said the instigators normally wait until there's at least 100 to 200 people in a crowd before they start trouble.
He continues to urge the peaceful protestors to go home early to help police spot the outside agitators causing problems.
