Want to know what going 270 miles per hour looks like? Just watch the American-made Hennessey Venom GT out for a spin.
Hennessey recently released a video showing its Venom GT reaching a top speed of 270.49 miles per hour at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, which is the fastest speed ever for a production car.
However, Guinness World Records says it is not officially recognizing the Venom GT's time as the record because it doesn't meet its more stringent guidelines. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport claims the the official record at 267.86 mph.
