LAWTON, Okla. - An Oklahoma man spent two days in a city's underground sewer after he dropped $20 into a storm drain.

The man followed his money but somehow lost his way. Two days later a group of high school students heard screams coming from a manhole.

When police found the man, he was about 15 feet below street level, in a dark and wet pipe and wasn't in the best condition.

"He did not remember what day it was. He wasn't sure how long he had been down there. He was pretty dehydrated and not really sure the time the date," said Alicia Redding, Lawton officer-in-training.

The man also had a bump on his head. Officials say a map is necessary to navigate the pipes.

Despite all his effort, the man never found his $20.
