SUN VALLEY, Nev. (KRNV) - In the heat of disaster, firefighters' concentrate on two things: saving lives, and saving the home and valuables inside.
It's the inherent compassion in their duties that saved one bride-to-be's big day.
The chaos and confusion was caught on a neighbor's cell phone as flames ripped through Barbara Dorrell's childhood home in Sun Valley, Nevada early Sunday.
"To watch your home burn, there's nothing you can do, but stand back and say goodbye."
