HOUSTON, Texas (KPRC) - This cell phone video is only a few seconds long, but it gives you a sense of the chaos that unfolded at Hermann Park on Sunday.
Watch it again -- the blurred image in the middle of the screen is a naked man, who terrorized a local family.
"He was running, like full speed," Sommer Rios said.
Sommer Rios was having a picnic at the park with her husband and kids when she says the man came out of nowhere.
"Then he started taking his clothes off one item at a time and he just got completely naked," she said.
The worst part for Rios is the man chased after her 4-year-old son.
To get away, he ran out into the middle of a busy street.
"My worst fear was him getting hit. I kept screaming for him to come back as I was running towards him," she said.
An off-duty officer and another man at the park helped tackle the naked guy and get him under control.
He was taken to the hospital.
Rios hopes their next trip to the park is much quieter, and she hopes police take what he did seriously.
"There were thousands of kids out there and they don't need to see nothing like that."
