The Saturday radio address from the White House will feature a guest speaker: first lady Michelle Obama.
Mrs. Obama will discuss the nation's outrage over the kidnapping of young girls in Nigeria, White House spokesman Eric Schultz said.
The first lady also plans to talk about Mother's Day coming up on Sunday.
It is Mrs. Obama's first solo Saturday radio address.
Earlier this week, the first lady joined a Twitter campaign to spotlight the situation in Nigeria, tweeting out a photo of herself holding a sign saying "Bring Back Our Girls."
"Our prayers are with the missing Nigerian girls and their families," Mrs. Obama said in the message. "It's time to #BringBackOurGirls. -mo."
Nearly 300 Nigerian girls have been abducted by an Islamist extremist group that is threatening to sell them into slavery.
President Obama's administration is sending technical experts and other assistance to Nigeria to help find the girls.
