DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia (WSB) - Surveillance video shows a man walk right into the Days Inn on Northlake Parkway in Dekalb County a little after 2 a.m. Monday.

He comes into the store with a silver and black handgun with an extended magazine on it.

Detective P.A. Wright with the commercial robbery unit for Dekalb Police says the man heads straight for the female clerk who was working by herself, went into the office grabbed her with gun drawn and took her straight over to the cash drawer.

Watch while the man grabs stacks of cash from the register, and at one point he looks directly into the camera. That's when police say the man told the clerk he would use the gun if she didn't give him keys to the safe and access to the video camera, but the clerk told him she didn't have them.

"He threatened her and said, 'Hey if you don't I'll shoot you,' but she was like, 'I still don't know how to work it.'" At that point he was so frustrated he left crying.

The clerk told investigators the man left in tears, which you can see from this camera angle as he leaves the business covering his face.

He puts his hands over his face and he's leaving the location crying.

Police say the clerk was not hurt.

Witnesses said the man left in a black Oldsmobile Bravada.

They're hoping someone recognizes the car or the man in the video.
