MARIETTA -- The plane carrying Dr. Kent Brantly, one of two Americans with the Ebola virus, landed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base Saturday afternoon.

The Gulfstream plane landed just before 11:30 a.m. After pulling into a hanger at the base, Brantly was removed from the plane and into a specially equipped Grady ambulance.

The ambulance, along with a police escort, made its way from Marietta to the Emory campus, arriving at 12:30 p.m.

The plane took off from Dobbins around 12:15 p.m.
