Eleven-year-old Alex and 14-year-old Gabe are two determined brothers. They both want to go into the military; Gabe the Marines and Alex the Air Force. So what better way to test their skills than in the flight simulators at the Science Center!
Gabe is in eighth grade and likes wrestling. He says the sport "is hands on. It takes a lot of training. It's a great challenge for me." But this talented young man is more than athletic. He also plays the trumpet in his middle school band.
Alex can be found playing with his LEGOs and creating some pretty cool designs. He can also draw. This fourth grader likes school and says, "Gabe is a good big brother because he helps me when I have problems. We need to stay together because, well, we're brothers!"
These two brothers also have a little wish. They would like to go play paintball!
To find out how to become part of their lives or grant their little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.
A special thank you to the Science Center for treating Gabe and Alex like VIP's! For more information about the latest fun at the Science Center, please visit www.slsc.org.
