PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - Congressman Aaron Schock has been joined on the stump by a U.S. president, a first lady and a string of other high-profile political types. But he'll have a different kind of big name by his side as he launches his campaign for a fourth term.

The Peoria Journal-Star reportsformer Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher will be the guest at a Schock fundraising event next month.

Schock says there's been "an oversaturation of politics" in the past six weeks. He thinks Urlacher will be a welcome change.

The Peoria Republican also says it will help him reach an audience that doesn't typically follow politics. He says it's similar to a cover shoot he did for Men's Health magazine or his appearance on the reality TV show "Top Chef."
