ST. LOUIS - Missouri seems to have little interest in attracting the movie business, and a state legislator and a filmmaker want that to change.

St. Louis-area native Eric Wilkinson co-wrote and produced the movie "Fall From Grace." Forest Whitaker, Tim Roth, and Vincent D'Onofrio are among the actors in the film.

The plan was to shoot the entire movie in St. Louis in 2014, but In November, Missouri's $4.5 million film production tax credit program expired. Now, two-thirds of the filming will take place in Georgia.

State Rep. Stacey Newman says film companies want to film in Missouri, but there's less incentive because the film production tax credits have expired.
