ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Congresswoman Ann Wagner has been appointed to serve on the senior deputy whip team, according to Congressman Steve Scalise.
Congressman Scalise released the following statement:
"It is an honor to appoint my colleague Congresswoman Ann Wagner to the Senior Deputy Whip Team," said Scalise. "She brings to the team her strong commitment to public service as a former U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg and her invaluable experience as a leader in the private sector. I look forward to working with her to unite the Republican Conference and move America forward."
Congresswoman Wagner tweeted her excitement saying, "I am truly honored to be named to the senior deputy whip team…"
Wagner will join Reps. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, Dennis Ross of Florida, Aaron Schock of Illinois, Steve Stivers of Ohio and chief deputy whip Patrick McHenry of North Carolina on the team.
