ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley says he's agreed to debate his challenger in the upcoming August primary.

Dooley had previously declined to debate Steve Stenger until his opponent made 10 years of tax returns public. Dooley proposed two debate times, and says the format is still being determined.

Stenger's camp brushed off the offer, saying, "The Dooley debate proposal doesn't identify a location, format, or moderator. It is obvious that he really not serious about debating."
