ST. LOUIS – No one was injured Friday morning after a school bus slid on a patch of ice and hit a parked car in Dogtown.

The accident happened on Nashville at Kraft where there is approximately ½ to ¾ of an inch of ice on the road. The bus went sideways, blocking most of the street.

A second bus came to assist and used salt to help the bus driver get traction.

Two children were on the bus at the time of the accident.

The City Streets Department also responded to the scene to spread salt on the affected area.
