ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close lanes in the City of St. Louis this weekend.

Westbound Interstate 64 lanes between Ewing and Kingshighway will close at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 for utility work near Tower Grove. Ramps from Pine, Jefferson, Market, and Grand to westbound I-64 will also close.

Drivers should use I-70, I-44, or I-55 to avoid the closure. Commuters who need to take I-64 can detour around the closure by getting off at the Forest Park Avenue exit (Exit 38A) and take Forest Park Avenue to Kingshighway. Turn left onto Kingshighway, and follow that road back to I-64.

The lanes are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27.
