Stay classy...New York City?
Mustached broadcaster supreme Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and his San Diego news team - Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Champ Kind (David Koechner) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) - pack their microphones and Sex Panther cologne and head to the Big Apple - as well as trade the 1970s for the '80s - in the new Anchorman 2 trailer.
Southern California can't hold the out-sized personality of Rob Burgundy - he is a big deal, you know - and he's wooed to be the newest hire at the 24-hour Global News Network.
Other changes are afoot, including a love interest (played by Kristen Wiig) for Brick who's just about as weird as he is. A sample from their verbal courtship: "Your hair looks like wet popcorn." "I like the parts of your face that are covered with skin."
There's also an apparent new amour (Meagan Good) for Ron - not sure how his wife and co-anchor Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) or loyal dog Baxter will feel about that. (Ron also does his best to set race relations back a good 10 years).
What's staying the same? Quotable lines such as "I'm going to do the thing that God put Ron Burgundy on this Earth to do: have salon-quality hair and read the news.
The cast also includes James Marsden, but the new footage showed no signs of Harrison Ford, who is also in the comedy sequel that'll hit theaters Dec. 20.
