St. Louis (KSDK) -- The St. Louis Cardinals recalledright-handed pitcher Trevor Rosenthal and catcher Bryan Anderson from the Memphis Redbirds.

Rosenthal and Anderson will report to Pittsburgh and be available for the Cardinals when they play the Pirates at 6:05 p.m.

Rosenthal will join the Cardinals for the third time this season. He has made five appearances out of the bullpen, un-scored upon in four of those (4.2 IP) and allowing runs (2) just once.

Anderson is joining the Cardinals for the second time in 2012, spending three days with the club July 6-8 when catcher Yadier Molina was on the bereavement list. He did not appear in a game during those three days, but has appeared in 100
games with Memphis, including 97 as a catcher.
