ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - It's going to take a small army to serve all of the sports fans who are pouring into downtown St. Louis. That's why Sports Service has called for reinforcements.

Sports Service is the company that provides the vendors at Busch Stadium and at the Edward Jones Dome. It's bringing in people from across the region to help serve Monday night's crowd.

Most of the people coming in from out of town are managers, but there are also beer vendors coming in from Chicago and Green Bay. The company also hired around 250 new people to help make sure food, beverage, and merchandise booths are fully staffed.

On top of all that, Sport Service has called on groups that work concessions for fundraisers.

Normally, the company says it has around 150 people working from those types of organizations. Monday night that number is doubled. With all that help, Sports Service says it's fully prepared.
