READING, Penn. (KSDK) – A 16-0 loss for the St. Louis Ambush meant the first win of the season for the Pennsylvania Roar, who improved their record to 1-11.

It was part of a four-game road trip for the Ambush, who play back-to-back games next Friday and Saturday against the Missouri Comets and Milwaukee Wave.

Veteran goalkeeper Peter Pappas of Pennsylvania got the win and shutout for the Roar, with 32 saves. Jeff Richey made 18 saves on 24 attempts for St. Louis in a physical contest that meant 24 fouls for the Roar and 17 for St. Louis.
