ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The Cardinals have announced the 18 non-roster invitees – mostly notably 2012 first-rounder Stephen Piscotty – who will join the 39 players currently on the roster to spring training.

Several of the Cardinals' recent top draft selections – including 2012 first-rounders Piscotty, James Ramsey and Patrick Wisdom (as well as 2013's Marco Gonzalez) – are among the invitees.

The only two invitees who weren't members of the Cardinals organization in 2013 are catcher Ed Easley and infielder Scott Moore. Easley, a supplemental first-round draft pick for the Diamondbacks in 2007 – batted a career-high .334 for Triple-A Reno last season. Moore, meanwhile, has had 152 games of Major League experience with the Chicago Cubs, Baltimore and Houston, batting .242 with 16 home runs and 53 RBI.

Pitchers and catchers report to training camp in Jupiter, Fla. on Feb. 12, and start workouts on the 13th. The rest of the team reports on Feb. 17 and begins workouts on the 18th.

Below is the list for non-roster invitees:

PITCHERS (7): Jose Almarante, Tim Cooney, Sam Gaviglio, Marco Gonzales, Zach Petrick, Lee Stoppelman, Jordan Swagerty;

CATCHERS (5): Ed Easley, Carson Kelly, Casey Rasmus, Cody Stanley, Travis Tartamella;

INFIELDERS (4): Luis Mateo, Scott Moore, Xavier Scruggs, Patrick Wisdom;
