KSDK – Some people are born to do things.

Trevor Rosenthal was born to throw a baseball with his right arm…really hard.

Injuries are about only that can stop this freight train now. Consider this: over the past two postseasons, Rosenthal has appeared in 17 games.

He hasn't allowed a run. The record is 19 – and Rosenthal could beat it this fall.

He lives for competition. Rosenthal was even a shortstop in junior college, and was drafted in the 21st round by the Cardinals with just four and two-thirds of an inning of work on the mound.

His fastball is 97.3 miles per hour – that's the highest in the field for right-handed pitchers.
