CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – On April 21, one year after the bombing, participants will run the most emotional Boston Marathon ever, and St. Louis will be well represented.
You would think that preparing to run one of the most famous races in the United States, which is a grueling 26.2 miles, would be almost a full-time job. But a woman in Chesterfield is going to do it, and she's not really altering her life to prepare for it.
Amanda Stanec won't win the race, but what she's doing is more important.
