ST. LOUIS – St. Louis may not have a Stanley Cup on its resume, but our town has become a hockey hotbed.

Kelly Chase once said because of the popularity of Brett Hull, there were a lot of ice rinks built in our town. Junior hockey has exploded, and great players are being churned out, and they're not just sons of ex-Blues players. Twenty-two kids in the U.S. have just made the USA's Under-17 National Team, and three are from St. Louis.
