KSDK – The Cardinals are 23-21 and four games behind the Milwaukee Brewers in the division, and it's really freaking Oscar-winning actor Billy Bob Thornton out.
The former Mr. Angelina Jolie told TMZ that he's "worried" about his St. Louis Cardinals.
"We're not playin' real good baseball right now," he said.
He doesn't really know why, either.
"They got the same guys, so it's a tough question," Thornton said. "Other than Beltran, they're the same team, with a few extra guys who are great."
Have no fear though! Thornton says the Cardinals will continue their quest for domination soon.
"I think it's a mental thing," he said. "I think they'll break out of it midseason, we'll be fine."
Thornton grew up in Arkansas, but his favorite team is the Cardinals – in fact, he has said that playing for the Cardinals used to be a dream of his. He also narrated the 2006 World Series Film chronicling the team's championship season.
