KSDK – Lots of soccer fans have been talking about Landon Donovan's ouster from Team USA's roster, but his loss is St. Louisan Brad Davis' gain.

In fact, U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann thinks Davis is a unique midfielder.

He's left-footed and – like left-handed pitchers in baseball – not many opponents face them.

If Klinsmann can capitalize on Davis' left-footed strength, there is certainly a key role he can play for the U.S.
