ST. LOUIS - A couple of former St. Louis Cardinals players took to a different type of ball field Saturday.

Jim Edmonds and Jason Isringhausen took part in the First Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament, where teams from around the area played all day in a round-robin tournament.

The winner moved on to the championship game where they beat Edmonds and Isringhausen's team 1-0.

The tournament benefited Three Birds for Life, an organization that helps young adults battling cancer.
