ST. LOUIS COUNTY – Missouri Baptist University will field a football team this year for the first time in school history.

The team will compete in the NAIA division, but the Spartans will face three Division I opponents in their inaugural season.

The 11-game schedule begins at Southeast Missouri State University Aug. 28.

MoBAP Head Coach Jason Burianek says the Spartans plan to give the opposition a tough time on the gridiron.
