There are about 70,000 people in the U.S. who are over the age of 100, but I don't imagine many of them are hitting seven irons crisply.
On New Year's Eve 2011, Jay Straus was involved in a serious car accident. His car was totaled, he needed stitches, broke his collar bone, and the first thing he said was, "I have to be playing golf by April."
He was, and it didn't surprise anyone.
