What a difference a week makes for the St. Charles Pirates. Last Friday they finished the regular season with a loss to Duchesne. This Friday they finished up the district playoffs by defeating Duchesne 52-46 to win the title.

Duchesne climbed to a three point lead midway through the third quarter and it looked like they would pull away. But, unlike a week ago, the Pirates were able to respond. Casey Teson had a stretch where he scored 6 straight for the Pirates to put them in the lead.

Last week, Drew Moore and Ryan Tune were able to have their way inside. That wasn't the case on Friday, Jason Draggs was a human block machine, denying the Pirates around the basket time and time again.

The Pirates will play Helias at Troy on Wednesday night.
