Ladue's Cornell Johnston wasn't the tallest player on the court. But he sure played the biggest when it counted.

Johnston scored 28 points as the Rams knocked off the area's top-ranked team, Chaminade, 61-58, in a district final on Friday night.

On the other side of the river, Caholia and Belleville Althoff dueled until the final buzzer brought an end to the drama.

Those two games are highlighted in Friday's Fastbreak, anchored by Frank Cusumano.
