ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jason Motte remains hard at work to get back on the mound in time for the early baseball season, but he's also working toward something else.
With the help of the MLB Player's Association, all 30 MLB teams are on board to further help with Motte's Strike Out Cancer charity.
You've probably seen the red shirts in the stands at Busch Stadium. Now, baseball fans across the country can buy one with their team's colors.
With each purchase, $5 will go to the Jason Motte Foundation and $5 will go to another player's charity.
Motte and his wife were also recently named the honorary chairpersons for Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure.
