ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - St. Louis Rams tight end Jared Cook will host a celebrity golf scramble later this spring to raise money for a charity that supports families of active duty military, focusing on children in particular.

The Jared Cook Celebrity Golf Scramble is Tuesday, May 20 at the Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Peters. The event begins with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and features a post-tournament dinner, golf shirt, contests for prizes, raffles, and a silent auction.

All net proceeds will go to Jared Cook's Dreambuilders program and its support of the St. Louis-based nonprofit Little Patriots Embraced (LPE).

Since launching 10 years ago, Little Patriots Embraced has served more than 32,000 military children and thousands of family members by providing emergency financial relief for families in crisis.

Foursomes for the tournament are on sale for $1,200. Anyone interested on taking part can reserve a spot by calling 615-535-3140 or by email at events@dreambuildersfoundation.com.
